Jacqueline G. Jackie Diamond

WESTFIELD - Jacqueline G. "Jackie" (Pedano Diamond, age 76, of Stanley, N.C., formerly of Westfield, N.Y. and Erie, Pa., died Friday, May 9, 2014 at Gaston Memorial Hospital of Gastonia, N.C. following a brief illness. Jackie was born on May 12, 1937 in Erie, Pa., the daughter of the late Carl and Olga (Minadeo) Pedano.

Raised in Erie, Jackie moved to Westfield in the early 1960's, where she and her late husband Max, raised their family. Jackie was a dedicated homemaker who loved being with her family and watching her children grow into young adults. She was a great "Mom", who attended almost every one of her children's activities and sporting events.

She is survived by her daughter: Deborah Murphy of Stanley, N.C. and her son: Michael (Kimberly) L. Diamond of Williamsville, N.Y.; Jackie was the proud grandmother of Max and Samantha Diamond, Matt Murphy and Stephanie Murphy-Hollar, and great- grandmother of Shane Hollar, William Murphy and Haiden Murphy. She is further survived by her brother, Carl Pedano of Florida, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Milton A. "Max" Diamond, who died on July 12, 1995 and by her son, Aaron S. Diamond, who died on August 16, 1995.

All Funeral Services were held privately. Burial was in Willowbrook Park Cemetery, Dunkirk, N.Y.
