Dear Frank, Diane, Cassie,
Just a note of loving thoughts and the feeling of one of Jared's everlasting hugs are being sent your way. Each visit with him during his growing years was filled with joy and laughter. He always was happy to share what he was passionate about, mostly his family and friends. Each visit began with a hug and him saying how special each of us were to him. He seem to be able to have a special gift of reaching out and touching a special place in our hearts to help us shine. Frank, Diane and Cassie your love and caring for Jared during his lifetime is reflected in the memories he has left with so many. Thank you for sharing your Jared.

Jared is missed dearly still til this day. We were more closer earlier through high school, we later splt apart as we grew older still saying hi everytime we would pass each other in the hall. First to Jared's family. Im sorry about the lost. I still cant believe it. Its been 2 weeks today. I'm always going to miss him. I loved haning out with the group of friends we made. It may never be the same. But for some reason I think Jared is always there for me...well for everyone. I talk to him everyday. I hope he's listening. He was like seriosuly the best friend anyone could ask for. Always making us smile. I miss him like crazy and will still miss him. Work isnt the same. Hanging out with the orginal 4 doesnt happen but i guess now it would be 3 but it doesnt happen. Jared I just have to say I love you and miss you like crazy i cant wait to see you again one day! <3

i dont know rly what to say...you were an awesome friend and i loved hanging out with you and "the original 4" and yet even though its been almost 2 weeks it still doesnt seem real that you've gone from us.....i went to the cemetary the other day to talk to you and somehow it actually felt like you were there listening. i hope you keep a watchful eye on everyone, we all miss you so much, but we know that we're going to see you again someday, but until that day comes all we have are memories good and bad. luv ya buddy

Henry Family,
Jared was an inspiration to all of us. I can not imagine not seeing him around the hall's at Central. I did not come to the viewing or the burial, and I am deeply sorry for that. Both of mt parents died last year, and i couldnt build up the nerve to actually go to another funeral home. Jared touched everyone differently at school, and that was the amazing thing about him. I loved him dearly. My condolences go out to your whole family.

If you say the name Jared Henry to us, we remember a feisty redhead with a smile from ear to ear. He was such a positive and wonderful part of our son, Dennis' life. Dennis always had funny stories to share about Jared and their Boy Scout and St. Luke experiences.
Our family only knew Jared in his early youth... and we can only imagine the wonderful young man he grew to be.

I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.

To Jared's Family, Frank, Diane & Cassie, Great-Grandma Mary, Grandma Dorothy, Josie, The Sargent and Scheffner Families, I can't tell you how greatful we are that you shared your wonderful Jared with us his "California" family. We looked so forward to those visits. Frank it makes me smile when I think of Jared with his snowboard ready to challenge those California Mountain slopes, he was fearless, happy and so loving. He built a special bond with Joseph and Amanda, he was always quick with a joke and a smile. He was truly a gift from God.

You are now in a better place up in heaven with god watching down on all of us. I worked with Jared for almost two years, and helped train him when he first started. We often worked shifts together, and only survived anywhere from three to eight hours at McDonald's by joking around. He was one of the best employees to work with because he was not only hard working and willing to do more than his share of the work, but also because he was fun to be around. When I left for college he was one of the employees that I really missed, and I was glad I was able to see him again during Christmas break. Jared, I forgive you for being a Ravens fan and if we meet again I'll be sure to rub this super bowl in your face as I'm sure you would have done the same for me had, by some miracle, the Ravens managed to beat the Steelers.
Flipping burgers will never be the same. Rest in peace.

I remember when he came to San Antonio/San Marcos to visit his uncle Ron who he adores and his cousin Sasha, my sister. He was so friendly and very funny. We had a few good laughs while he was here. It was so much fun. I wish we all could have hung out again one last time. I also want to thank Jared for not only being an awesome cousin but also a best friend to my little sister.
