Joan L. Staab

Joan L. Staab, 56, of Lamont Dr., Meadville, passed away, Wednesday, November 23, 2010, at her residence after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer. She was born November 3, 1954, the daughter of Emmett F. Bredenberg and Jeanette Swift Bredenberg. She married Craig Staab on February 9, 1980. She loved watching her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She was a 1972 graduate of Academy High in Erie, Pa. and worked as a bookkeeper for Leech Carbide till her illness. Survivors include her husband, Craig, of Meadville; two sons, Brian Staab and his wife, Jenna, of Meadville, and Doug Staab of Meadville; two grandchildren, Halie and Allie Staab; a sister, Carole Huether, and her husband, Jeff, of Geneva, N.Y.; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ken Bredenberg. Calling hours will be Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville. The funeral will be Saturday at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at Greendale Cemetery, Meadville, Pa. Memorial maybe made to the Yolanda G.
