Craig and Family, I am a very old friend of Joanie's and lived next door to the Bredenberg's on 35th Street. I was actually with Joanie at the 2001 Disco in Meadville the night she first met Craig. Their love was instantaneous. I haven't lived in Erie for almost 30 years and I am just finding out about her untimely passing. She was truly a beautiful person inside and out and I can not imagine how very much she is missed. My deepest condolences.

To Carole, Craig and families. I just learned of your loss through a patient of mine who had worked with Joan. I had no idea. I showed my patient the picture that I took of Emmett holding the bible. It still sits in my office and gets many comments. So sorry to hear of this news.
