Joseph Kloss Obituary
He was born on May 1, 1942, in Erie, Pa., a son of the late Myron Kloss and the late Dorothy Zapolski.
Joe owned and operated Kloss TV and Appliance store in North East for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, classic cars, reading, hunting and bowling. Joe was a member of St. Gregory Church in North East and the St. Joseph Club and the American Legion Post #105, both in North East.
Joe is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jo Ann Newara Kloss (Dearie), daughter, Janelle Kloss of Cleveland, Ohio, son, Jordan Kloss and his wife Katy and their children, Parker and Paisley, of Harborcreek. He is also survived by five sisters and one brother.
Friends will be received at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, Pa., on Sunday, January 5, 2020 from 3 p.m.. until the time of services there at 6 p.m. Rev. Fr. Thomas Brooks will officiate.

JoAnn and family, Jim and I were very sad to hear of Joe's illness and passing. We have very fond memories of buying appliances and televisions when he had the store. He sold us our first color television! As a young family with young boys we were thrilled. He was always enthusiastic to help. May the love you shared and the memories you have help you through this difficult period.

I am so sorry for your loss joe was a great guy. He will be missed by so many people who's lives he has touched. He and I had many great conversations from hunting at my dads to our hot rods. Rest in heaven joe and god bless you all. I am sorry I won't make the funeral as I am currently in Florida.

Dear JoAnn and Entire Family,
I am truly saddened by the passing of Cousin Joe. He fought a very hard battle with his illness. I completely understand what you all are going through at this sad and difficult time. I always liked Cousin Joe. He was always very nice to me. It was always a pleasure when ever I would see him at the bank or in the grocery store. He will be very much missed by all. He is at peace now and no longer suffering. He is in heaven in the loving care of our Holy Father. Now my brother John can share stories with Joe up there as they always had a good connection with one another. God Bless your Family and may he guide you through this heart breaking time. So very sorry for the passing of Joe. He was always a good friend to me. He always treated people right and straight to the point when he was in business. Someone who you could respect. I bought ALL of my appliances/furniture from Joe when I first moved "out on my own" in the 1980's. He was SO kind & fair....such a NICE man! I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers for your loss of such significance.

So sorry to learn of the passing of Joe as you are in our thoughts & prayers. Joe was always so gracious to talk and sell us appliances and such after my mom sold her store. We always appreciated him as he will never be forgotten. My mom was happy to get to see him while at Lecom SL.
