Kimberly Winiecki Obituary

Kimberly Winiecki, 49, of Erie, passed away on Sunday February 14, 2021 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Erie on December 28, 1971 a daughter of Wanda Vandergriff Silveus Winiecki Buterbaugh and the late Joseph S. Winiecki.

Kimberly graduated from Mercyhurst Prep and worked at St. Vincent Health Center for 21 years and at LECOM at Village Square. She was a former member of St. James Catholic Church and loved her dog, Kona.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her half-sister, Theresa Ann Silveus; her half-brother, Alfred "Darrell" Silveus, Jr.; and two stepfathers, Jack L. Buterbaugh and Alfred "Darrell" Silveus, Sr.

In addition to her mother survivors include her son, Kyle Winiecki and his fiance, Shannon, of Whitewater, Wis.; one granddaughter, Evelynn; her half-sister, Tina Marie Silveus, of Erie; and many nieces and nephews. Kimberly is also survived by her many wonderful friends at St. Vincent Health Center and LECOM at Village Square.

Friends are invited to call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. All Erie County Covid-19 guidelines will be enforced. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

If lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
