I had the great good fortune to know Larry Cole from the time we were fraternity brothers at Penn State until his death -- 54 years in all. He was the finest of men and the best of friends, and I shall miss him greatly. He was both a character and a man of character. He was the life of every party and, at the same time, a good man, consistent in his beliefs and his devotion to friends. To Larry's daughters and his beloved wife, Roxie, Barbara and I send our deepest sympathies. We are thinking of you. Mike and Barbara Hancock

To Family on the Passing of Larry Cole:

I remember meeting Mr.Cole at his daughter, Erin's wedding. The small church, was something that made the event so, special. Erin, you made your father proud I am sure in many ways, and at one time, when we had chatted said to me,"I hope and prayed Erin would find a man that can bring her happiness, and she did, in Chris". Chris you made Larry M. Cole, a happier man to make him a grandfather with your children and they brought him joy.

You and your family have on behalf of myself and my family, utmost respect for his dedication to serving for our Country.

Each life he touched, can be seen on a star filled nighttime skyline. If it appears to be cloudy,it is because he has soo many,we just can't count them in a certain part of the world. But he is remembered. He will be always remembered when a soothing breeze kicks up a notch when the day seems dry,he will be partly responsible. He would ask "God to give my family a hug from me, so they know I am thinking of them". And God will grant it. When there be a moment to wonder if his family is thinking of him,you will know when.

That time will come when you see a sudden rainbow, and it might appear to be a cloudless day but your dad, will shine on you and your families, all along,he is looking down to his family, reminding them that he will await the time you all will be reunited as a family when the time comes.

God Bless the Cole Family.

Lord, oversea them in this time of grief, but bring joy to the hearts of lives he touched, for they will have memories that will be something that will never be taken away from them!

God Bless,

Jessie & Dick Plyler
