Lenore Tevan Obituary

Lenore "Honey" Tevan, age 94, of Erie, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. She was born October 27, 1918 in Niagara Falls, N.Y., a daughter of the late Dominic and Julia Falvo Tevan. She worked as a secretary in Cleveland, Ohio and was a bookkeeper and model in Erie for a local dress shop. Honey had a strong faith and enjoyed Bible reading and study. She was very independent. She enjoyed gardening especially her tomatoes. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five sisters, Erma Tevan, June DiMichael, Marie DeDionisio, Ella Spano and Rhoda Donofrio and one nephew, Donald DeDionisio. She is survived by seven nieces, Charmaine Check, Dale Grignol, Roberta DiMichael, Sharon Zielsdorf, Gale Filipkowski, Susan Coverdale and Marie Scupski, one nephew, Bill Spano and several great nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday at Christian Assembly of Erie, 2417 Liberty Street, at 10 a.m. Burial will be private in Erie Cemetery.
