Mark Way Obituary

Mark Richard Way Mark Richard Way, 29, of Millcreek, passed away Sunday June 15, 2008. Born in Cleveland, Ohio April 12, 1979, he was the son of Eva Marie (Wilson) Way and her husband, Chet Magee, of Erie, and Mark J. Way, of Cary, N.C. Mark was a 1997 graduate of Cathedral Prep and was the nursing home service manager for Health Care Service Group. He was an Eagle Scout from Chestnut Hill School Troop #182. Surviving are his two brothers, Matthew R. and Michael R. Way, both of Erie; his grandparents, Regina A. Wilson, of Bronx, N.Y., and Richard L. and Betty Way, of Oil City; and a nephew, Matthew R. Way, Jr. and his life long friend, Kari Froess. Also survived by Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Calling at Brugger Home for Funerals, 1595 W. 38th at Greengarden Blvd., Tuesday, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church, 2401 W. 38th St. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Boy Scouts, French Creek Council, 1815 Robison Rd. Dear Way Family,
I was sad to here of Mark's passing. It seems as if it was just yesterday we were just at Camp Notre Dame. Then as we grew older we became working teens at Wegmans. My husband attended OLP with him. Mark will be missed dearly as he was a very nice young man.
