Mary Ann Reppert

Loving Mother, Sister and Aunt Mary Ann (Teubert) Reppert, age 58, went home to the Lord on Sunday, October 17, 2010, at her residence in Erie. Born February 5, 1952, in Erie, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Barbara J. (Kuntz) Teubert. She was a graduate of Villa Maria High School, and Saint Vincent School of Nursing, and was a labor and delivery nurse, helping to bring many babies into the world at Saint Vincent and other hospitals throughout her lifetime. Mary Ann "Bucky" thoroughly enjoyed many Erie community events, such as 8 Great Tuesdays, Heritage Days, The German Festival, and the Presque Isle Sunset Concert Series. She was president of the "Life Saver" Birthday Club and enjoyed the magic of Disney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David R. Teubert. Survivors include a son, Royce W. Reppert, wife Jodi, of Chicago, Ill; a sister, Karen McElhinny, husband Michael, of Erie; a nephew, Colin McElhinny and a niece, Catherine McElhinny, both of Erie; a sister-in-law, Kathy Teubert, of Erie; and many dear friends, especially Amy Scalise and Ted Lesko. Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 East 38th Street, and may attend a prayer service there Friday at 12:45 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace Church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
