Philip Proctor Obituary
He graduated from Clymer Central High School and attended the State University of New York at Buffalo. A car aficionado, and more specifically a longtime "Chevy Guy," Phil worked in new car sales at his family's car dealership, Proctor Chevrolet, in Findley Lake. He later worked for Rick Spur and Gary Miller Chevrolet. For over 20 years, he had been the New Car Manager at Dave Hallman Chevrolet.
Phil had a bigger than life personality and a big heart willing to help everyone who crossed his path. He was extremely devoted to his family and friends, as well as to all of his many dogs over the years. He enjoyed golfing with his friends and cherished growing up at Findley Lake. Phil especially loved his family vacations and uncle's weekends.
Survivors include his wife, Wendy M. (Campbell) Proctor; two brothers, Rex Proctor (Jan) of St. Louis, MO and Marty Proctor (Lisa) of Findley Lake, NY; parents-in-law, Ken and Audrey Campbell; sisters-in-law, Pam (John) and Karen (Andy); nieces and nephews, Ashley, Libby, Adam, Russell, Stephen, and Peter; and a great niece and nephews.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St., at Greengarden Blvd. Services will be held there on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with his friend Rev. Bill Young officiating. Private burial, with family, will take place at Mina Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania, P.O. Box 3930, Erie, PA 16508. Condolences may be expressed at www.bruggerfuneralhomes.com.

I was deeply saddened to hear today of Phil's passing as I was totally unaware. My deepest sympathy to Phil's family and hope our prayers and your fond memories bring comfort to you in this time of sorrow. Phil Proctor is a man whom I will be forever greatful to. If it had not been for his guidance in the car business, I am certain that my husband Ron Seyboldt would not have stayed in the business for 20 years at Dave Hallman Chevrolet. May God give all of Phil's family and friends peace at this very sad time. No doubt that a man with the heart and soul that he had has made it to a better place.May you rest in eternal peace Phil, I will miss seeing you at Hallman's.

Wendy, Rex, Marty and families: We are so sorry to hear of losing Phil, much too soon. I have fond memories of Phil in our youth and the frequent family gatherings at Findley Lake. I am especially grateful to Phil for looking out for Mom and Dad in their elder years, while they lived around the bend in Walnut Heights. We pray the Lord bring comfort to the family.

I couldn't possibly find the right words to sum up what an outstanding person Mr. Proctor was. His was the first friendly face I saw walking into the dealership and I will remember the times that we laughed and talked together. He was one of those people who had such an influence on myself and so many others, that he will never be forgotten. I wish his family peace and comfort.
