Beverly

I just got your card today. I'm so sorry. From all the comments he was a fine man, and you can take comfort in being the mother of such. When Christ suffered in the Garden and on the cross he not only suffered for our sins, he was acquanited with our grief so He would know how to comfort us. He is so near, seek Him in your need and you will find comfort and peace.

I was fortunate enough to know Randy in middle school as well as throughout high school. He was without a doubt, a true friend and fiercely loyal to his family. I was also fortunate to have reconnected with him recently. We exchanged emails almost every day for a few months. He wrote about his dogs, his art and his plans for the future. He sent many old pictures of us at the beach, all of his cars and his numerous girlfriends. Randy was a rare person gifted with many fine attributes- humor being one of his finest. I'm truly saddened and my deepest sympathies go out to his family and to all those that knew him.

Never really hung out with Randy in highschool... was a year ahead of me. Last September,he emailed me through classmates.com and we vented about life to each other. He was a complete gentleman and respected that I was married with a family. He seemed like a great guy and made me laugh just through his words on email. I wish I had the chance to know him better. I'll miss reading his messages. Rest in peace Randy.

What I remember about Randy is from middle school on when we were put in alphabetical order for anything...classroom assignments to high school graduation...he was always right in front of me (my maiden name is Ferloin) He was always there with a smile and usually a joke or a compliment about me. I lost touch with him after high school but my happy memories will carry me through. This is a reminder to be kind and to smile and to tell the people in your life they are important to you because you never know if they will be here tomorrow. God Bless you Randy!

I went to SV with Randy & when I went to Tech we remained friends and party buddies. Life was so simple then and we really had the world on a plate. I moved to Texas & we lost touch for several years...My husband passed away 6 years ago, bringing me back to Erie...Randy was right there, friendly, supportive and funny as ever. He helped my children and me move into our new home just a year ago. When I mentioned moving, he offered, no question. He also brought my kids a bottle of fart spray....its still hidden in the top of my closet! I was NOT too happy about that smell, but now I'm happy for the memory.
Randy was a great friend that you could really count on & my world will have a void in it without him.

Randy, We always wish for one more chance, one more call, the opportunity to be there for the people in our lives...I can not say goodbye so I'll just say see ya later, please watch over your family

Much love to you and my heartfelt sympathy to the Ferl family

I worked with Randy at SV for almost a year and I discovered that we had a lot in common. He was a very good worker and as his supervisor I could always count on him during his time there. His personality got through to me and made my days there much more fun thanks to his sense of humor. I left SV 5 months ago and when I returned after Easter he wasn't around anymore much to my disappointment. I didn't know him nearly long enough but I will miss him.

I remember Randy from school while attending Strong Vincent. Dan Swope and Randy were inseparable. He was always a really nice guy - and although, i have not seen Randy in years, I am sure he was as nice and humorous after school as he was in school. The good ones always die young and that is very unfortunate. May God Bless Randy in his new resting place - in the hands of the Lord in Heaven. God bless his family.

Great memories growing up on the same block and kickin' back a few up the street. You had such a tough exterior, but a true gentle heart. I still think I was faster and would love one more Superior Street football game to prove it, but I guess that will have to wait until I see you again.
I will miss seeing your grin at the Lager ol' buddy. I raise a toast to you tonight.

Randy was my brother. I always looked up to him and could always depend on him no matter what, weither it be for his input on a situation or a laugh when I was feeling low. He had so many great qualities, but His trustworthyness, loyalty and compassion were second to none. He was extremly gifted in making art projects, weither it be making masks, sketching pictures, working on his house or anything involving creation, I always admired that. He taught me everything that I know about nutrition and was constantly encouraging me to keep hitting the weights. Randy lifted also and his best lifts were benching 335 for 3 and squating 415 for 3, he loved to have strength and size. I will miss him dearly as a friend and a brother. I guess ill end this on a funny note, the way Randy would of wanted it. Whenever we were in public he would wait for a crowd to form then he would pass gas and yell Justin! and i would be stuck with the shame and embarrasment. He loved it, and after I could scrape up enough integrity to leave the store i thought it was funny too. Hell be missed dearly and his memory will never fade. Love ya brother.

My deepest condolences to the Ferl family. Randy was a good friend and always made me laugh.I went to high school with Randy, and years later ended up working together for seven years at strong vincent. Randy was a great practical joker and was always scaring me and the guys at work on a regular basis, as well as many other clever jokes. he was also good at drawing and was always cracking us up with the funny cartoons he would draw of all the guys at work. Randy loved to lift weights and very rarely missed a workout. we had many good times together that i will always remember. gonna miss ya bro.

I weep because a gentle soul was taken from me far too soon. He lightened my burdens and bore his own with quiet grace. One could not ask for a truer friend than Randy. Surely our Heavenly Father has welcomed him into His loving embrace. To the family - please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. May your memories bring you comfort in your time of grief.
