Ray was one of the kindest men I have ever met. Always willing to help and spoke in a gentle voice. Taught with him for many years and everyone thought highly of him. My sympathy to his family .

To Ray and his family:
As a fellow agent, I never met a finer person. One who always had the right words at the right time. A completely generous person, I will always remember him and keep him in my prayers.

To Ray's family, We will miss Ray come Albion Fair time. His life long enthusiasm for antiques was the thrill of his heart. Always challenged to create a crowd pleas-er of a display in the antique building. His horse and buggy was one of his highlights. Many of us have what Ray had; the thrill of the hunt for the next big antique discovery. It's not only a find but an education of yesterday's gone by. Ray helped to preserved those days each year at the Albion Fair. History was his passion to preserve and admire. It he left us anything, it is to do the same.

I was proud he called me his friend. We both enjoyed collecting Erie milk bottles. The 3 foot by 3 foot scale model barn he built was incredible in it's detail. His small tractor collections were displayed like a museum. He rebuilt tractors to be like new. And all with only one arm! I will greatly miss visiting him and sitting on his glider. My condolences to his whole family. Ray, RIP my friend. Jack (Bummerboy)
