Richard Lewis Obituary

Richard R. "Rich" Lewis, age 78, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Erie on July 8, 1942.

Rich worked for Feidler TV and RCA for several years before teaching electronics at Triangle Tech and Erie County Vo-Tech. He was a model train enthusiast and enjoyed playing guitar. Rich played in several local bands in his early years. He also like traveling and had gone across the country by train.

Rich was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Sourwine Lewis.

Survivors include his children, Richard J. Lewis (Heather), and Karen Conner (Arnold); four grandchildren, Thomas Lewis, Savanna Conner, Kay-Leigh Conner, and Joshua Conner; and several cousins including Robert Lewis (Kathy).

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday at Messiah Luther Church, 2025 Eastern Avenue, at 4 p.m., conducted by Rev. Jeffrey Piccirilli. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd.
