To The Althof Family,

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Bob. For years my father John Hicks was crazy about bob . He really liked Bob first as a friend , then as his mechanic. My dad loved him for many of years and always spoke very highly of him. Bob always treated my dad with respect and never tried to beat him whenever he worked on my dad's car. He always treated me with respect also. he will truly be missed. I'm sure he and my dad are up there talking about cars as we speak. May God bless you all.

Ash,
Although I am in CA, I read about your dad's passing. Please accept my sympathy. I remember not too long ago talking to you about his recovery. I did not not know you dad well, but I have known him for over 25 years and I thought he was a really great person. We had just short conversations whenever I saw him and I enjoyed that.

We were neighbors of yours across the street for many years. I actually worked with Michelle and am indirectly related to her.I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing and that he was sick. I will always remember how he'd fix my family's car's and then he and Joanie would let me in and keep trying to feed me as I waited for my family to come home. Rest in peace dear friend. May all his family cherish his memory.

Althof Family
Your Dad was the nicest man who entered our life when my late husband Joe Tarkowski worked for him. We were just starting out and he let us get gas and Joe worked on weekends to pay for it. At a time when money was scarce he was a lifesaver. He was the sweetest man and I will never forget his generosity. My prayers and thoughts are with your family.
