I had the privilege of knowing Rob for over 25 years. I used him for photography projects several times, and had the pleasure of knowing him on this professional level and on a casual personal level as well. I am saddened by his death and will miss him.

The last time I spoke to Rob was when he was in the hosp. back in Aug 2007, while learning of his illness. Him & I had dated for the first few mths of 2005. He loved The History Channel, his Fiesta Pottery collection, Hot & Ready pizzas from Little Caesars, his photography, being frugal, and he just loved life and marching to his own drum. I'll never forget how Rob introduced me to the joy of cooking with a meat tenderizer (LOL!) Anyway, he repaired one of my kitchen legs & helped me upgrade my computer hard-drive so that I could store all my photos on it. He helped cause that's the way he was. My deepest sympathy to Nancy, photographer pal Ed, & to all his other friends and family. May God heal our broken hearts.

I never had the privilege of knowing Robert but thru a few of his pictures. Not getting to know him, I am sure is my loss. Those that work so very hard to be the best at the Art of Photography will certainly be missed by not just fellow photographers but all that love the beauty that he brought to one and all. I never had the privilege of knowing you that well, Bob, but your works will live with me and others as well. Thank you for bringing some beauty to our lives. May God bless and keep you happy always.
