Robyn Fratus-Pristello

Robyn Fratus-Pristello, age 44, of North East, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends, on Thursday, July 24, 2014.

She was born in Erie, on February 19, 1968, the daughter of the late Frank Fratus and Judy Pollock Fratus.

Robyn attended McDowell High School. Robyn was a very loving mother, who acted as both mother and father to her children. She was also a wonderful grandmother, daughter, and granddaughter. Robyn's main focus was her family. She enjoyed doing crafts, loved flowers and loved her dogs.

In addition to her father, Robyn was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mary and James Pollock; and her paternal grandfather, Harry Fratus.

In addition to her mother, Robyn is survived by her husband, Ricky Lee Pristello; one son, Joseph Kopnitsky and his fiancée Jessica North; two twin daughters, Jessica Kopnitsky and her fiancé Chris Lyons and Jamie Kopnitsky; her brother, Richard D. Fratus and his wife Shellie; and one special nephew, Dean Fratus. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Kaiden, Layla, Gracie, Bryona, Gabriel and Delaney; her grandmother Marge Fratus; and many aunts (including a special aunt Barb Peacock), uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 W. 26th St. (at Powell Ave.), on Sunday, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and are invited to attend a service there on Monday at 11:00 a.m., with Monsignor Daniel E. Magraw officiating. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
