Theodore Speros Obituary
Theodore R. Speros, age 83, of Erie, formerly of Lakeside Dr., passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014. He was born in Cambridge Springs, Pa., on April 8, 1931, son of the late George and Maude Speros.
Ted was employed at Hammermill/International Paper for 42 years, until his retirement. He was a great golfer and enjoyed many golf trips to Myrtle Beach with his friends. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
Ted is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Speros; two sons, Rick Speros (Ki Suk) of Erie and Michael Speros of Sacramento, Calif.; one brother, George Speros of Florida; three grandchildren, Dennis Speros, Denise Comi (Tom), Lisa Speros; four great-grandchildren, Hunter, Autumn, Mia and Tessa.
Ted was preceded in death by one sister, Peg Speros.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 7:30 p.m., conducted by Reverend Stephen Morse, of the First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant.
