Timothy King Obituary
He served in the Armed Forces of the United States during the Korean War. He then graduated from Penn State University, School of Business in 1959 and pursued a career in accounting. He lived in the Erie, Pa. area for over 30 years and was an active supporter of the Boy Scouts with his sons. While battling cancer himself, he volunteered at the Erie Regional Cancer Center. He had the ability to connect easily with others and could make them feel more comfortable.
Beloved husband of 57 years to the late Jane Shettel King.
He is survived by his children he loved so much: Karen (Ed) Arcuri of Leesburg, Va., Kathy (Bob) Saitz of St. Louis, Mo., Timothy B. (Joan) King, Jr. of Paradise Valley, Ariz., Susan King of Sarasota, Fla., and Chris (Rebecca) King of Bainbridge Island, Wash.; dear grandfather of ten; dear brother of David L. (Liz) King and the late Joyce (Dick) Maffei; dear brother-in- law of Carol (Elmer) Stapf of Camp Hill, Pa. and the late Margaret (Arch) Knisely of Lancaster, Pa.; dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
A memorial service will be held in the early spring of 2014 in Erie.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Regional Cancer Center, 2500 West 12th St., Erie PA 16505.

To the Family of Timothy King,
I worked at The Regional Cancer Center in Erie PA and enjoyed talking with your Dad on Friday mornings when he volunteered. He was a faithful volunteer and pleasant to visit with. I remember his smile and pressed shirts. My sympathy to all of you.

Dear King family,
I am so sad to hear of your Dad's death. My fondest memory is dancing with him at my wedding...all smiles and jokes, and great footwork! Our Wexford days so good and my visits with him and Jane, in Erie, such great times!! Sending my love.
