Violet Korynoski Obituary

Violet Mecci Korynoski Violet Mecci Korynoski, 82 of Lake City, died Saturday December 27, 2008 at Fairview Manor following an extended illness. Violet was born June 5, 1926 in Conneaut, Ohio, a daughter of the late Louis and Jospehine Mecci. She was raised and educated in Conneaut, Ohio, and following her marriage moved to the Lake City area and has resided there since. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, attending county fairs and traveling and listening to all types of music. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Koryinoski in 2001, also by two sisters, Anna Saul and Josephine Sackett and three brothers, Vincent, Ernie and Anthony "Tony" Mecci. She will be sadly missed by her family which includes two sons, William N. Korynoski and his wife Linda of Lake City and John L. Korynoski and his wife Kelly of Girard; a sister, Mary Shore of Conneaut, Ohio, three grandchildren, Jaclyn and Jenna Korynoski of Lake City and Sydne Korynoski of Girard; also several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Monday at the Girard Cemetery at 1p.m. Memorials may be made to the Lake City Volunteer Fire Company 2232 Rice Ave., Lake City, PA. 16423 Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Daniel R. John, Bill and family

I was very sorry to hear of Violets passing. I looked forward to taking my dog for a walk and stopping to visit with her. She was a dear friend and I will miss her very much. God bless you and your family and God bless Violet. Goodbye friend.
