BANGOR
Kevin M. Nasatka, 63, of Bangor, PA, passed away Saturday, October 5th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem, PA.

Kevin was born in Easton, PA, on September 7, 1961, a son of Janet (Brown) Nasatka, of Wind Gap, PA, and the late Frank Nasatka.

He was the husband of Lisa L. (Vargo) Nasatka. They celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary this past May. Kevin was a 1979 graduate of Pen Argyl High School. He was employed as a maintenance engineer for the NJ Department of Corrections in Annandale, NJ, until retiring in 2013. Kevin was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time at his hunting cabin in Monroe County.

In addition to his wife Lisa and mother Janet, Kevin is survived by three brothers, Steven Nasatka, husband of Monica, Frank Nasatka, and Terry Nasatka, husband of Michelle, Mother-in-law Eva Vargo, three sister-in-laws Jodi Dorney, wife of George, Robin Pagatto, and Vicki Strohe, wife of Scott, a brother-in-law Robert Vargo, Jr., husband of Indra, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father-in-law Robert Vargo, Sr.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, October 11th at Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Lillian Lane "Village of Johnsonville" Bangor, PA. Online condolences may be offered at gafnneyparsons.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 1210 Hamilton St., Allentown, PA 18102, or to the American Diabetes Association, PO. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.
