Eugene Allen Obituary
Graveside services with full military honors will be Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 2 p.m. at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb is in charge of arrangements.
He was born Dec. 6, 1936, in Georgia to the late Jeffie and Janie Tippins Allen. He retired from the U.S. Army.
Survivors include wife Ruby Allen of Ashford and son Michael Allen (Kim) of Eufaula; sister Carolyn Griffin of Alma, Ga.; brother Charles Allen of Jacksonville, Fla. and grandchildren Michael, Conner and Ethan Allen and nieces and nephews.
