He is survived by his mother, Molly Cooksey-Johnson, nine sisters, Lisa Seville, Toye Williams-Young, Tina Copeland, Kimberly Cooksey, Ericka Cooksey, Elizabeth Cooksey, Kelly Cooksey, Melissa Cooksey, and Maggie Cooksey-Donoho, five brothers, Dale Morgan, Chris Cooksey, Scott Cooksey, Sam Cooksey and William Cooksey, and three children, Ashten Cooksey-Smith, Paige Cooksey and Matthew Cooksey.
Visitation for Mr. Cooksey was Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific. 11:00 A.M. Funeral services were Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the funeral home. Internment was in St. Patrick's Rock Church Cemetery, Catawissa.
