Robert Fowler Obituary

Robert H. Fowler, 90, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, at his home.
Robert was born Aug 11, 1927, in Wellington, Texas. He was the oldest of 13 children born to William and Flora, known as Agnes Fowler. He grew up in McCamey, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Eleanor Schmidt on June 7, 1954. Robert worked for Western Union and retired after working there for 37 years. After retiring from Western Union, he worked for McDonnell Douglas for 7 ½ years. Robert was a loving husband and father and will be missed dearly. Robert is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eleanor Fowler; his children, Patricia (Bob), Craig, Donna Fowler, Robert (Cathy) Fowler, Karen (John)Dortch, Pamela (Rob) Avooske, Steve Fowler and Russell Fowler; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and other relatives. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
