Barry, he was a blessing to have had in our family. He taught us a lot about loving, patience and selflessness. It was a privilege for me and my children to learn to love and care for someone who does not quite act like us or think like us. It taught us to look beyond ourselves and our own needs to the needs of others. It was a honor to share this life with him and have the opportunity to love him. We look forward to seeing him "whole" in Heaven one day.
We love you Barry and will miss you.

Barry was my brother. He could be exasparating at times , when he was two steps behind you telling you ,"I just want to tell you one more time" and you said, "Barry, you already told me five times. His reply was are you angry with me?
We replied ,no Barry I'm not angry,we love you.
Barry has made a lasting mark of love for him from all of our family. I pray he has taught all of us to learn patience. I'm sure he is talking a tin ear on daddy in Heaven. We all look forward to the time we will someday fly to meet Jesus and join them and meet our heavenly father.

I would also like to express my sympathies to all of Barry’s family. I attended the funeral this morning and Val’s speaking of Barry I was reminded fondly of watching Barry. He would visit home usually around holidays and I do recall him always asking, “Do you remember me – Do know my name?” I recall one time my good friend Chris saying to me while watching Barry run around the grassy area around the front of Grace UMC, How Jesus must love him. He did possess a great spirit. May God bless each of Barry’s family as you continue to grieve and recall fond memories of your brother, uncle, and friend.

Barry and I had some great times especially when we were younger and those times will always remain a fond memory to me. He always had a knack for making those around him laugh and smile. He will be missed by alot of those who shared in a large part in his life. We can all smile, knowing how much he touched so many.

As a bicycle rider Barry was an excellent motorcycle passenger with me. Total balance: Hardly knew he was there when we rode. It was our living distance in miles that prevented us from riding together more but he was so often there in spirit.

Our deepest sympathies to Mildred, Janice and family in this time of loss. I, too, remember Barry's exuberance and love of life -- his enthusiasm was contagious, and he loved sharing it with other people.
I wish you comfort in happy memories and ask God's blessing upon you for peace at a sad time.

I wish to express my deepest sympathys to Barry's family. I worked with Barry for almost three years and found him to be both friendly and full of life. He was always talking about the things he wanted to do and the places he had visited. He made even the most mundane tasks seem exciting. You could not help but smile when around Barry, he was such a great guy. I will miss him and his lively conversations. Please accept my condolences and know that Barry will be missed.
