Hanover
Donald Reece Shuffler, 77, died on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at his home. Born on March 26, 1940 in Buladean, NC, he was the son of the late Robert B. Shuffler and Creta Hughes. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia A. Frock Shuffler.
Before retiring he worked 30 years for Coca Cola Enterprises as a Service Trainer. He was a member of the Church of the Open Door and member of the Maryland Gold Wings. He enjoyed NASCAR, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Besides his wife he is survived by two children, Deborah Shuffler Mc Kinsey and husband, Tony of Hanover, and Robert S. Shuffler and wife, Linda of Hanover; a sister, Virginia Robertson and husband, Monroe of Spring Grove; and brother, James Shuffler and wife, Carol of New Windsor; three granddaughters, Amanda Stultz and fiancé, Adam Forbes of Littlestown, Jerica Garrish and husband, Jason of Hanover, and Ashley Shuffler of Westminster; and two great-grandchildren, Abigail and Logan Forbes. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Larry Wayne Shuffler and William Gene Shuffler.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, with Pastor John Campbell officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice, 440 N. Madison St., Hanover, PA 17332, or the Pleasant Valley Community Fire Company, 2030 S. Pleasant Valley Rd., Westminster, MD 21158.
