E. Maxine (Butler) Irvin, 88, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at her residence. She was the wife of Leon J. Irvin, who died February 28, 2000.
Maxine was born January 30, 1928 in Petersburg, the daughter of the late John G. and Myrtle A. (Smith) Butler
Maxine was a member of St. John's U.C.C. in New Chester.
Maxine is survived by a son, Terry L. Irvin and his wife, Susan of Newville; a daughter, Tammy J. Starner of Fairfield; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Catharine Jean Runk of Alexandria. She was predeceased by a brother, Jim Butler.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin, with the Rev. Dr. Margaret J. Wise officiating. Burial will be in Alexandria Presbyterian Church Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. There will be no viewing.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA/Hospice, 440 N. Madison St, Hanover, PA 17331.
