Frances Panebaker Obituary

HANOVER Frances V. Panebaker, 80, entered into God's eternal care Wednesday afternoon, Decem ber 19, 2007 at Homewood at Plumcreek. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Panebaker who died on February 19, 2006. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on August 30, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Francis Henry and Pauline G. Hershey Smith. Frances had been employed as a cashier for the former Acme Supermarket and as a waitress at the Victory Restaurant. She was a member of Lohr's Memorial United Methodist Church. Frances is survived by a niece Ellen Mills of Hanover. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph H. Smith. Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2007, at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover. The Rev. Richard D. Smith will officiate. Viewing will be at the funeral home Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association, 440 N.
