My sympathy to the family of Whitey.I served under him when he was the First Sargent in the National Guard. He treated me more than fair and I admire him for that.
In recent years I had the pleasure of our talks of American Flyer trains. He shared with me a wealth of information. We were even fortunate enough to be able to attend a club meeting together.
His passing will be felt by many people.
My prayers are with you all.

So sorry to hear about "Whitie." You all have so much to be proud of for all the loving care and support you have given him these last few years. You are all heroes! May he rest in peace.
