Jack Staub Obituary

HANOVER Jack K. Staub, 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2014, at Lancashire Hall Nursing Center in Lancaster. Born Saturday, February 13, 1937, in Hanover, he was a son of the late Ernest and Margaruite Urick Staub. He retired from the Borough of Hanover after 30 years of service. Jack was a member and Past President of the Hanover Republican Club and was an avid woodworker. Survivors include his wife, Linda D. Bell Staub; three sons, Todd K. Staub, Scott A. Staub, and Ricky L. Staub; a brother, Allen "Tom" Staub; two sisters, Honey Maddline and Yvonne Rutters; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Patrice "Sue" Grove and Nadine Groves. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2014, at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover, with The Rev. Kenneth S. Heasley officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Expressions of sympathy may be shared by visiting www.PanebakerFuneralHome.com
