Dear Jimmy,
As you know, your sister Donna and I were so close growing up. You and Freddy were like younger brothers to me. I am profoundly sorry that your life was cut so short. It is a tragedy for all who knew you and your beloved Kimy.
It is obvious that you found happiness with your precious wife and that you were perfect together. I believe that you and Kimy will now be together always and that God holds you both in His loving arms.
Love,
Jennifer (Jenny)

Dear Donna and family,
I did not know your brother but knew you from LHS. I was Ann Romano. I am so very sorry to hear of your loss, and know you will be embarking on a very rocky journey of grief. Please know whatever you feel is normal! (My 14 yr old daughter and 2 of her friends were killed in a car crash in 2004). I just want you to know that you and your entire family will be in my every thought!

To the Fissel family. I am speaking from my husband, whom Jim went to school with and was good friends with - Chip Carr - Class of '82..Chip often talked about Jimmy. He has told me many stories of Jimmy and Chip hunting together. Chip talked about an old Suzuki Jimmy had. We had the pleasure of meeting his wife at the 25th class reunion just a few years back. Chip and Jimmy sat around and talked about old school days. What a delightful couple they were. Chip has told me many stories of having dinner at the Fissel's, going to church with the Fissel's. Chip was deepenly saddened at the news of Jimmy's passing. Chip and I would like to personally express our sorrow and remind you to please keep your faith in God as he guides you through these tough days that lie ahead. If you need anything, I am sure Chip would be more than grateful to offer any assistance.

To the families of Jim and Kimy ~
Our hearts are filled with sorrow for all of you at this very difficult time. My husband and I had the pleasure of knowing Jim thru his subcontracting work at RD Poole and Hostetter Construction. Jim was always a pleasure to work with and to be around. As for Kimy, we only met her once at a church function several months ago, but she made a lasting impression. They were a beautiful couple and were obviously loved by many! Hopefully you will be able to find a small amount of comfort in knowing they are still together.

You only had to meet Jim once to know he was a wonderful man. I didn't get to know him well, but sometimes you just know when someone is great person. He was full of life and love and lived his life to the fullest. I will miss Jim and Kimy, my cousin, dearly. May God Bless and help heal your hearts.

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Jim and Kimy, particularly for the loss for their children. I'm grateful to have known and worked with Jim who was a steadfast man of integrity, hard work and compassion. I knew Jim as a man who was bold in his witness of eternal life thru Jesus Christ and grateful he's with the Lord now. Recently, as we were working on estimating a project together, I was touched by how dedicated and committed he was to taking care of his family and those that worked with him in his company. I'll miss him.

Pearl, Fred and Freddy,
I am so very sorry to hear what happened. There are no words that can be said to console you. This is a true tragedy and one that I will never understand why God took these two people the way he did and at the best times of their lives. This should make us all think about our lives and how we need to be towards others as we can be gone just as quickly. You are all in our prayers. May God be with you and your family.

Though we were not immediate family anymore, you will always be my brother in law and I loved you! Through the time you were a groomsman at my wedding, through the short time we worked together...though you didn't work me too hard..the crew always knew there were no short cuts...it had to be "done right"! For the Monday nights we pumped iron at the YMCA, but most importantly for you leading my wife and I to be Saved by the Lord, Jim, I thank you! There are so many family memories from years past...I'll treasure each one until we meet again. God bless my beautiful nieces and nephew, my sister and all of Jim's and Kimy's family! I pray for each one of you for comfort and peace. God Bless a man that will be missed by those that knew him and those that never had the pleasure to!

What sad news to hear of a fellow classmate taken way too soon.
I spoke with Jim last year after years of not seeing him and he spoke of how wonderful life had been and how he was blessed to have found such a wonderful lady to spend his life with. You could just tell he and Kimy were extremely in love with each other. What a beautiful couple.
My sympathy to both of their families. May God be with you and comfort you especially at this time and for always.

Brother Jim,
How much we have loved you in life, Heaven knows! And we trust you have always known that you are loved and greatly admired from here!
You have been a wonderful brother, brother-in-law, uncle to our sons, and just an all-around great friend to us through the years. You worked hard and played hard. You were resilient in the face of adversity. We will follow your example.
We are comforted by God's gift of eternal life to all who believe in His Son, Jesus Christ, and by the promise of heaven and rest at the end of the day.
And, we are especially comforted with the reality that you had given your heart and life to Christ. You modelled Christian faith for you children and all of us. Thank you for living your life for the Lord!
Have a great forever, Brother! We'll be with you soon, in God's own timing and purpose. We'll miss you on this side, but we'll love you always!
