Jessica C. "Jessie" Barker, 35, died Friday, Nov 25, at the Dove House, Westminster. She was the wife of Kevin M. Barker for 17 1/2 years. Born April 5, 1981 in Carroll County, Jessie was the daughter of Randall Robertson, Sr. of Ocala, Fla. and the late Alora (Wilson) Robertson. She was a 1999 North Carroll graduate and the owner/operator of Common Threads Embroidery of Littlestown.
Surviving in addition to her husband and father are her two sons, Dustyn T. Barker and Lane T. Barker; her daughter, LilyAnn M. Barker, all of Littlestown; her brother, Randall Robertson, Jr. of Ocala, Fla.; her sister, Randi-Ashly Delman of Timonium, Md.; her In-Laws, Norman L. and Ellen Z. (Tignor) Barker of Littlestown; and her maternal grandmother, Sandy Gill of Hampstead, Md. Jessie had attended All Saints Episcopalian Church, Reisterstown and loved being a mother and being with her family.
Funeral Service is Thurs, Dec 1, at 11 a.m. at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown with The Rev. Timothy J. Kielley officiating. Viewings are Wed. 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Jessica was a bright light in my day and in the lives of all my Kindergarten students when she helped in Room 131.She created teeshirts for my class and share bags for their weekly treasure sharing. She loved her children with all her heart and will be missed with lots of broken hearts and tears. She fought the fight and never gave up-she's in heaven and at peace.
