John Kapp Obituary

John F. Kapp, 85, died at 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at The Shepherd's Choice of Gettysburg. He was born Sept. 11, 1919, in Warrington Township, a son of the late Henry S. and Florence (Beck) Kapp. Mr. Kapp had worked as a mechanic for Shoemaker Used Cars, Thomasville, and previously for the former York Telephone & Telegraph Co. He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Henry S. and E. Arlene Kapp of Thomasville; eight nieces; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Kapp; and two sisters, Mae Einsig and Ruth Maul Sipe. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the graveside service at 10 a.m. Saturday at Friends Meeting House Cemetery, Wellsville. Officiating will be Chaplain Carroll Luckenbaugh of The Shepherd's Choice. Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover, is in charge of arrangements.
