Loretta Louise Ann Becker Chronister

YORK SPRINGS Loretta Louise Ann Becker Chronister entered into God's eternal kingdom Monday, August 31, 2009, at the home of her daughter, Cynthia Wolfe of York Springs, after an extended illness. Born January 25, 1941, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. Becker and Gladys May Gobrecht Becker. Loretta retired from the Utz plant after many years of employment. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Hanover and the Ladies Auxiliary of Spring Grove. Loretta enjoyed many years of selling Avon, baking desserts and cleaning for other people. Surviving are daughters, Cynthia Ann Chronister Wolfe of York Springs, Theresa Chronister Noel of Codorus Township; a son, Randy Chronister of Gardners; sisters, Joann Becker and Barbara Abell, both of East Berlin, Billiesue Diehl and Anna Williams, both of Hanover; brothers, Martin and Russell Becker, both of Hanover; three granddaughters, Angie Chronister and Jenn Chronister, both of Maryland, and Krystal Chronister of York Springs; four grandsons, William Harrison of Corodus Township, Kevin Walls of Missouri, Jack and Glenn Chronister, both of Hanover; and nine greatgrandchildren. Loretta was preceded in death by her sister, Violet May Becker Warehime. A graveside service will be held at the Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, at 11 a.m. Saturday. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any charity of your choice.
