Mark Troyer Obituary

Mark Kyle Troyer

Hanover - Mark Kyle Troyer, 49, of Hanover, PA, entered God's eternal care, Sunday, January 27, 2019 at his home.

Born July 15, 1969 in Hanover, PA, Mark was the son of Joan (Cavanaugh) Connor and the late Paul E. Troyer, Jr. He was the step son of John M. "Jack "Connor, Sr. and Carol A. (Wagaman) Troyer.

Mark was a 1988 graduate of Hanover High School where he was an outstanding football player for the Hanover Nighthawks. He thrived on the football field when surrounded by his teammates and coaches. After graduation, he went on to attend East Stroudsburg University. He worked in the construction field for many years and most recently, for Adams Masonry.

Mark was a kind soul with a big heart. He will be remembered as an avid lover of sports, especially football. He enjoyed interacting with and being around kids and animals. May Mark be remembered as the strong, athletic and caring person that he was. May he rest in peace.

In addition to his mother, step father, and step mother, Mark is survived by one brother, David K, Troyer of Reading, PA, two sisters, Amy E. Troyer and Julie P. Troyer both of Hanover, PA, one niece, Morgan P. Brian, and two nephews, Conner D. Brian and Shane C. Troyer.

Following cremation, the family will receive friends and share memories from 5-7 PM, Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hanover Area Council of Churches, 136 Carlisle Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
