Nancy Hubler Obituary

Nancy L. Hubler, 50, loving wife of Mark A. Hubler, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 30, 2005, from the Brethren Home Community after a long and lengthy illness. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at Pathway Community Church, 890 Taxville Road, York, on Saturday at 10 a.m. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. John Cressman. The Koller Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 2000 W. Market St., York, is entrusted with the arrangements. Nancy had four great passions: she loved the LORD, Mark, riding her motorcycles and encouraging others. She regularly attended Pathway Community Church and was a member of CMA (Christian Motorcycle Assoc.). You'd often find her sending cards or calling just to say "Hi, I was thinking of you" or "The Lord brought you to mind" and "How ya doing today". People regularly commented on her smile. She is deeply loved and will be dearly missed. Nancy was born in York on October 30, 1955. She also lived in Florida, Arizona and Nevada. She is survived by her husband, Mark Hubler of York; her parents, Carroll and Janet Leppo of York; a brother, Bill Leppo and his wife, Diane of Venice, Fla.; and two nephews, Marc and Brent Leppo, both of York. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Brethren Home Community, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA 17350; Pathway Community Church, 890 Taxville Road, York, PA 17404; or Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 1075 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.

Mark, I am sorry for your loss. I was one of Nancy's best friends in high school and while I lived in York. We bought our first motorcycles at the same time and rode a lot. When I moved to Arizona, I stayed with her until I got settled. She was a great friend and a great person. Sincerely, Christine

Ditto to all of the sentiments shared by the other signers of this guest book. Nancy was such an inspiration to me. She was the most sincere, loving, and Christ-centered person I ever met in my life. No matter what she was going through, she could only praise our Lord and give an uplifting word or Bible verse to someone else. I am so blessed to have called her "Sister" and friend. Nancy, I love you, I miss you, and I can't wait to see you again. Love, your Sister Biker Pennie

Nancy was the best friend anyone could ever wish for. She is my sister in Christ & was my spiritual mentor. She taught me so much about God's word & how to live my life accordingly. She was so faithful & encouraging. I will miss her terribly but I know because of God's grace, I will see her again someday. Thanks for all you did for me. My life is blessed because of you. I love you sister!
