Patsy Anderson Obituary
Hanover - Patsy A. (Mehring) Anderson, 87, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover.
Born March 9, 1934 in Red Lion, she was a daughter of the late Allan R. and Fannie M. (Duncan) Mehring.
Patsy loved spending time with her family whenever possible and on special occasions; she enjoyed walking her dogs and reading.
Patsy is survived by two children, Kevin S. Anderson of Hanover, Sue K. Buffington and her husband James of Manchester; six grandchildren, Shannon Anderson of Mechanicsburg, Isaac and Mallory Anderson both of Sinking Springs, Dalton, Laken and Drew Buffington of Manchester and many other loving extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by two brothers, Owen Mehring and Jim Mehring.
A service to celebrate the life of Patsy will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA with Rev. Kirk Griffin officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be to York County SPCA, 3159 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406 or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123
