Dear Pappaw,
Some of my fondest childhood memories are times spent with you & grandma...playing at your desk with your milk receipts...loved that ditto paper, playing in the creek (even though we weren't supposed to!), lots of good treats, all the chocolate milk we could drink. I also remember dancing with you at The Hotel Oxford. You were quite the dancer! I could go on and on...Just know that you have made a wonderful impact on so many people with your great sense of humor and kindness. You will always be loved & missed!
Your grandaughter,
Lisa

P.S. That bright red cardinal was outside my window again today. I feel you watching over us.

Dear Great Grandpa,
We are remincing all the good times that we have shared with you: ice-cream treats whenever we visited, playing dominos (you always let us win): ) , watching the phils on television, your red cardinal which spun with the direction of the wind, the stories you told us of your first job as a milk man ( deliveries by horse and buggie of course)!, celebrating holidays at Grandma Peggys. We want to let you know that we feel very fortunate to have known our greatgrandparents unlike so many our age who were not so fortunate. You will be missed & always remain in our hearts. We love you!

Love always and forever,
Will, Mindy,& Andrea

Grandpa,
You have been such a blessing in my life. I have so many wonderful memories that I will always cherish. I find comfort in knowing that you are in heaven reunited with grandma. I will look for two twinkling stars in the night sky and know that you and grandma are dancing together again. May you rest in peace. Love, your granddaughter, Jodi
