Robert Eichelberger Obituary

Robert A. Eichelberger, 70, of East Berlin, died Friday, April 16, 2004, at his home. He was the husband of the late Beverly P. Eichelberger who died in September 1978 and the late Marjorie R. Eichelberger who died in March 1998. He was born Feb. 28, 1934 in Harrisburg, the son of the late Harry E. & Grace E. (Sturdavant) Eichelberger. He owned and operated East Berlin Beverage Co. for 40 years. He was a member of the Hanover Elks, the East Berlin Lions Club, East Berlin Fire Co., and Richard J. Gross Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8896 in East Berlin, the New Oxford Social & Athletic Club and the Loyal Order of Moose. He is survived by three daughters, Roberta Teal of Spring Grove, Jenette Eslinger of Wellsville, June Trimmer of East Berlin, a son, Todd Eichelberger of York, two sisters, Joanne Harris of Camas, Wash., and Cynthia Schimpf of Harvard, Mass., two brothers, William Eichelberger of Sandwich, Conn. and John Eichelberger of Sewell, N.J., and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, West King Street, East Berlin, with Rev. William L. Lindsay officiating. Burial will be in East Berlin Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2004, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home Inc., 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin.
