After reading the comments in the guest book, there is little left to be said. What a tribute that everyone has the same good feelings about this wonderful man. "Nice" is such a powerful word to describe someone and Sal was truly a nice person. We feel fortunate to have known him and hope we can all learn from his example.

My heart goes to Diane and all the Coppola family. Sal, you were so special to me. You always loved being with your family and were so proud of them all! I remember the few visits you made out here to California. I know you are in heaven with your parents, and especially my Dad--he loved you like his second "son". RIP dear cousin!

To all Sal's family, so very sorry and shocked to hear of your loss, he was way to young to be called up by God. I had the pleasure of getting to know Sal and the rest of his family when he first moved to Hanover and loved seeing his wonderful smile (all the time) and enjoyed his family. You will be sadly missed but know that you are looking down on all of us with that great smile of yours. What a wonderful man you were. R.I.P. Sal.

Diane & family, my prayers go out to you all during this difficult time. My memories of Sal growing up as a teenager are the best memories at the old Hanover Mall. Being at the mall almost on a daily basis, and seeing Sal, Jerry, and family across from the Hallmark card shop - just seems like it was yesterday. My thoughts and prayers go you to you and family.

Desr Diane and family, there are really no words to say to take away the pain and sadness you are feeling, I know this because not too long ago I went through the exact same thing and lost my Father to cancer. But thanks to GOD above he reminds us that we will have eternal life in Heaven with him and I know Sal is there smiling down on his family and countless friends. Sal touched the lives of so many and he will never be forgotten and will live on through the memories that we all have with him in our hearts,

Sal was a super guy, when we lived in Hanover we loved his pizza, we moved away about 6 years ago and every time we have pizza, we always say this isn't near as good as Sal's. Since leaving Hanover we haven't found anything even close. Our fondest memories of Sal is our last trip to La Cucinna and Sal came over and sat with us and we had a discussion on difference in pizza types, he always went out of his way to talk to us. He will be missed, I first met him at Scottos many years ago, he was an icon. Rest in peace Sal our prayers are with your family.
