Stuart L. Connell

Stuart L. Connell, 81, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Margaret Connell. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Stuart L. and Marie E. (Ounsworth) Connell. Mr. Connell was a retired district sales manager for Robertshaw Controls and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Fairfield, where he served as an elder. He was also a member of Good Samaritan Lodge 336 F&AM; the Good Samaritan Royal Arch Chapter 266, P.H.P.; the Gettysburg Commandery 79, P.C.; and the George Washington Council 66, P.T.I.M. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Jeffrey Connell of Vanceboro, N.C.; one daughter, Beth Burdette of Biglerville; four granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; and one great-grandson. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fellowship Baptist Church, Mount Hope Road, Fairfield. Arrangements are by Hetrick Funeral Home, 3125 Walnut St., Harrisburg.
