Paul Cornell Obituary
Paul was born in Hornell on May 14, 1981, the son of Patrick V. and Lorraine K. (VanSkiver) Cornell. He grew up in Jasper and was a 1999 graduate of Jasper-Troupsburg Central School.
On August 23, 2014, he married the former Dina Rienzo. She survives.
An avid outdoorsman, Paul loved to hunt deer and game birds and had a passion for trout fishing. He loved to attend outdoor expos and shows and was in his favorite element when spending time in the outdoors.
Paul was a sales manager for IBuy Stores Inc. in Chester, an online business selling construction equipment.
Paul is survived by his wife, Dina of Chester; his daughter, Ella Reynae Cornell at home; his mother, Lorraine (Fred) Barber of Jasper; his father, Patrick (Maureen) Cornell of Jasper; his brothers, Dane (Holly) Cornell of Berkshire, N.Y. and Trent Barber (Katie Barron) of Grove City, OH, his sister, Sarabeth Cornell of Jasper, his maternal grandmother, Rosemarie VanSkiver of Jasper; his mother in law and father in law, Rudolph and Diana Rienzo of Bluffton, S.C.; his sisters in law, Kimberly Rienzo-Tillson (Justin) of South Carolina, Stephanie (Andrew) Boyance of South Carolina and Krystle (Nick) Frye of Georgia; nieces and nephews, Payton Cornell, Ainsley Cornell, Elizabeth Tillson, Abigail Boyance, Olivia Boyance, Logan Frye and Thomas Frye; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, N.Y. Paul's memorial service will be held there on Friday at 11 a.m. with Deacon Robert McCormick officiating.
