Pat grew up in Bartlesville and received his schooling here, graduating as a Spartan from Sooner High School. Pat worked with his parents who were the original owners of Evans Nursery. Pat also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
On July 9, 1983, Pat and the former Vicki Fairchild were united in marriage in Bartlesville and they have lived here raising their family and operating the popular family-run Evans Nursery .
Pat is survived by his wife, Vicki of the home, and children, Clay and Melanie Evans, of Bartlesville; Gillie and James Ashley of Bartlesville; Ethan Evans of Broken Arrow, OK and Brett and Micah Frasier of Bartlesville. He is also survived by a brother, James William "Bill" and Linda Evans of Copan, OK, a sister, Melissa and Keith Henry of Bartlesville, a grandson, Holden Evans and a granddaughter-to-be, Emma Ashley. Pat is also survived by four nieces, a great niece and great nephew. In addition to his parents, Pat was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Ann Schooling.
Pat has touched the lives of many and was proud to consider them part of his "family". His favorite saying was "Only rocks live forever" but he will forever live in our memories.
