Edwina June Grissom

1924 - 2015

Edwina June Grissom, longtime resident of Bartlesville and Dewey died in the early morning of March 7, 2015.
She was born July 25, 1924, at Clarkston, Washington, to Edd S. and Ethel (Remmy) Findley. She was married to Billy Linden Grissom December 4, 1945. She was retired from Reda Pump and was a long time member of the First Church of God, Dewey, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, January 10, 1977.
Surviving family members include her daughter, Linda Hammon and her husband, Tom of Stillwater, Ok., her son Scott Grissom and his wife Patti, of Bartlesville, Ok., 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank all those who cared for her in her last days. A special thanks to all the staff from Cornerstone Hospice.
A memorial fund has been established, and those who wish may send contributions to the First Church of God in Dewey, 222 S. Osage, Dewey, OK 74029.
Funeral services will be held at the First Church of God in Dewey at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2015 with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends who wish may sign the online guest book and leave condolences at www.stumpff.org.
