My sympathies to all of the Nickels family. I have known his brother Norman's family for many years as his daughter Penny and I attended school together. I knew his sister years ago also when they would visit Mary Lou, Jody and Jamie in Bartlesville next door to where I used to live. I am so sorry for your loss and I just love the whole family. God Bless you all.

As a classmate of Ernest, it was fun getting to know him as an adult. I admire him so much his love and dedication to Sue. We enjoyed their friendship at our reunions and monthly get togethers.

Ernest and I played together as young kids as we lived close to each other in the country. I will always cherish those days of exploring the woods, fishing, riding horses, playing touch football, and watching TV at their home since we didn't have one yet. Imagine that!! Guess that dates us all. God bless and keep Ernie and his family.

Sue, my most sincere sympathy to you. I have so many fond memories when we were neighbors on South Osage in the late 60's, early 70's. Rest in peace Ernie.

I remember Ernie in Barnsdal High as being a very smart student and a funny friend. Having seen him at a couple of reunions, he had stayed that smart, funny guy and had become a very nice man. Rest in peace, Ernie.

Ernie was in my graduating class of 1958 from Barnsdall High. I didn't really get to know him very well until our classmates started having reunions and taking trips together. I was proud of the man he became and he was so courteous and kind. I appreciated so much that he took such good care of his wife Sue. May God rest his soul.
