He started grade school with the kindergarten class at Copan Schools and had completed the 6th grade, and was currently a student in the 7th grade. Garrett is survived by his parents, Gary and Beth Battige of the home in Copan, by one sister, Kelseigh Denise Battige, of the home, and a special cousin Rebecca Lee Pittman of Wann, by two aunts, Michelle Reed, and Tammy Melton, both of Copan, by one uncle Robert Allen Battige of Bethel, Oklahoma and a special friend of the family; David Roger Sonsalla of Bartlesville, by his maternal grandfather, Richard A. Reed of Bartlesville, and maternal grandmother Barbara J. Burkart, of Dewey, and his paternal grandmother Barbara Evelyn Battige of Grove, Oklahoma, and also by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
