Aunt Opal was a wonderful woman, always there with a smile, bright, cheery, loving, always offering food, offering for us to come to the farm for a visit. Her graciousness knew no bounds. Opal was incredibly giving, and I believe it was due to the Lord's presence in her life. Her light shined and everyone in her presence was the beneficiary. Many times I've thanked God for Opal and Bee who intervened in my dad's life, Les George, or "Junior" as he was called. When my dad was a boy his home situation was terrible, and Opal and Bee literally rescued him, taking him into their home and raising him to adulthood. My life and my sister and brother's lives would have been very different if Opal and Bee had not taken my father out of that bad home situation. Bee and Opal taught my dad the value of hard work, and that love of the Lord is the most important thing. Thank you, Aunt Opal. I'm sad because you're gone, but joyous in the knowledge that you are now with Bee, Helen, Clyde, Ralph and Junior, and with the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven.

Marilyn, What a friend your mom was to have in Jesus! I feel blessed to have known your mom. She was so uplifting, caring, and positive in everything she was involved in. I loved her like a mom. She was a mom to many. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family members.
