Angela Trent Obituary
She was born January 21, 1971, to George Mulderink and Patricia Jones in Springfield, Mo. Angie was united in marriage to Mike Trent for twenty wonderful years. They were blessed with two amazing sons, an extensive extended family and many life long friends.
Angie devoted her life to serving others, and her passion for students with special needs was evident everyday as a Paraprofessional at Fort Osage High School. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Blue Springs, a leader in Boy Scout Troop #332 and a Tribe of Mic-O-Say member with the title Honored Woman. She enjoyed scrapbooking, crafting, camping, and was an avid reader. Her greatest love was her children.
Survivors include husband, Mike Trent, children, Tyler and Jack Trent, and mother, Patricia Jones, all of Blue Springs, Mo.; father, George Mulderink of Louisburg, Mo.; maternal grandmother, Doris Kamper of Elwood, Ill.; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St., Blue Springs, 816-229-3276. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the First United Methodist Church, 301 S.W. Woods Chapel Road, Blue Springs.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City.
