I first met Glenna several years ago while involved with the same scout troop as her late brother, Eric. She was out going, very friendly. I am deeply saddened by her death at such a young age. My sympathies to Buddy, Linda, Glenda Foley and the rest of her family.

A Reason and A Season

Sometimes individuals come into ours lives at various times. They enter our lives, we become friends, we share thoughts ideas, experiences, and often the timing God sent them to us seems to be, at the right time and at the right moment. Just as seasons change, relationships are privy to the same universal ebb and flow and before you realize it, that relationship slips into a faded memory. I know you all can recall those, reason for a season friends if you really think about it.

This past weekend I received messages from colleagues about a friend from my past who made her transitionI was shocked! You see, I hadn't spoken to her for 5 years.

I was immediately overwhelmed by fond memories of how much fun we had together and how she was there for me and I was there for her. What I remember most about her was her laughter, her smile that could light up a room, her style, her compassion for others, and her willingness to help anyone in need. Yet, just as seasons change, over the years, (for no particular reason) we drifted apart. So Glenna (my friend for a season) I am grateful you were a part of my life for a reasonmay you rest in heavenly peace as I shall cherish your smile in my heart
forever and ever...
