Imogene Robison Obituary

Imogene L. "Jean" Robison Imogene L. "Jean" Robison, 96, of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away Friday, November 11, 2022. She was an active member of the South Crysler Restoration Branch in Independence. Jean was one of four children born to Ruppert C. and Effie (Allen) Smith, on December 27, 1925, in Center Point, Okla. Jean spent her growing up years in Oklahoma and Bisbee, Ariz. After high school, she moved to Omaha, Neb., where she met the love of her life, Harold "Skip" Robison. They were married April 17, 1946. Jean and Skip had two daughters, Pamela (Maybee) and Penny (Mackison). Jean was preceded in death by her daughter, Penny Mackison and her husband of 71 years, Skip Robison. She is survived by her daughter Pam Maybee (Jack); granddaughters: Wendy Davies (Shannon), Misty Floersch, Ashley Bosworth (Brandon) and Kelli Annin (Matthew); nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Jean has been laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Independence, Mo. A "Celebration of Life" memorial service will be held on January 21, 2023, 11 a.m., at South Crysler Restoration Branch, 16101 Salisbury Road, Independence. Jean will be remembered as a pillar of faith to her family and friends. She loved the Lord and was always willing to share her testimony, of His goodness in her life. She will be greatly missed, but leaves a legacy for all who knew her.
