JAMES WIDICK Obituary

JAMES RAYMOND WIDICK James Raymond Widick was born on September 11, 1942, in Kansas City, Kan., to Alvin Raymond and Hollis Lorraine Widick (nee Patrick). He died on December 1, 2023, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; stepfather George Johnson; stepbrother Earl Lee Johnson; and second wife Anna Widick. Jim is survived by his first wife, Leona Widick; son James Darrin (Susan) Widick; granddaughters, Abbey Suzanne and Alexandra Grace Widick; stepdaughters, Pam (Whitney) Huff, Kathy (Max) Kesner; stepsons, Jacob, Abraham and Isaac Perez, and Ishmael (Erica) Gonzales. Jim was a 1960 graduate of William Chrisman High School. He was a lifelong salesman, with the bulk of his career in automotive sales in Kansas City and Corpus Christi. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Odem, Texas. Memorial services were held in Corpus Christi on December 5, 2023. Kansas City services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Lee's Summit Christian Church with visitation at 1 p.m. and the service at 2 p.m. Private burial at Memorial Sunset Gardens in Kansas City.
